How we work

Our state of the art diagnostic equipment allows us to quickly and effectively assess scoliosis in patients of all ages. Our cutting edge suite allows us to develop a 3D picture of your body and tailor your treatment to your specific needs, right down to the finest details.

We work with our patients to develop a multi-level approach to treating their case. This can include a mix of scoliosis specific exercise, bracing, Chiropractic Biophysics and additional approaches. Over the course of several detailed consultations we get to know how your condition affects you, how you see treatment proceeding and how we can help you to best meet your goals as quickly as possible.

In most cases we will prescribe scoliosis specific exercise, that can be incorporated into your daily life and activities. Exercise alone can often be effective in mild scoliosis, while enhance the long-term results of bracing and improving body symmetry and reduce pain in adults.

In cases where scoliosis is significant and where indicated, we'll recommend a Scolibrace – a highly effective but comfortable and discreet scoliosis brace which, over time, can do much of the work in improving your scoliosis and minimising progression. Our braces are custom designed for you down to the millimetre using our 3D imaging equipment. Braces come in a wide variety of colours and patterns!

During your treatment, we’ll stay in touch with you regularly, either with face to face meetings at our clinic or online via skype or similar if you prefer. By staying on top of any changes we can ensure that your corrective regime is always at its most effective. During our check in sessions, well evaluate your exercise regime, and address any issues you might have with your treatment regime. Periodically, well examine your case so we can check on overall progress.

Once your case is under control and the cobb angle has been stabilised, we will keep working with you to ensure that the scoliosis remains stable and does not worsen. With the UK scoliosis were always available to listen to your thoughts and concerns.

Outstading results

Our unique blend of Spinal bracing, Chiropractic care and scoliosis specific exercise has been the subject of intense research over the past 15-20 years. Today, research confirms that our approach been shown to reduce curve progression in 70 to 90% of cases.

Choose your brace!

Traditional medical braces are designed to hold the spine in a patient’s scoliotic position, which might halt progression - but it actually does nothing to improve the curve.

In contrast, our Scolibrace braces are an active over-corrective brace which works to shift the spine in the opposite direction, back towards normal posture.

Our braces are designed for you from the ground up and are totally customisable (choose your favourite design!). In contrast to traditional braces, they’re lightweight and comfortable to wear.
